Life Day is an annual event in St. Joseph, MO to celebrate and defend all ages and stages of human life. There are 3 ways to be involved: walk, prayer chain and rally. The public is invited to participate in these no cost events on October 6, 2019.
The local Knights of Columbus started the walk in 2013 with 150 participants. The walk route will include 3 starting locations to encourage people of all athletic abilities to join in on celebrating LIFE! People of all ages are invited to participate to showcase the value of life.
Walk Details Include:
1:50 pm Start from Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church at 5502 Frederick Blvd St. Joseph, 64507. Total distance from Frederick Boulevard to Rally is 3.7 miles.
2:15 pm Depart from Missouri Western Spring Sports Complex near Faraon in St. Joseph Total distance from MWSU Sports Complex to Rally is 2.2 miles.
2:40 pm Leave East Hills Library at 502 N. Woodbine Rd St. Joseph, 64506. Total distance from East Hills Library to Rally is 1 mile.
Final Destination: Bishop LeBlond Memorial High School Stadium at 3529 Frederick Ave. St. Joseph, 64506
In addition to the walk, at 2:00 pm non-walkers will form a Life Chain in front of Bishop LeBlond Memorial High School. They will be praying for the unborn babies, people with physical challenges as well as those facing a health crisis.

The LIFE DAY events will conclude with a 3:30 pm rally at Bishop LeBlond High School Stadium featuring J Alan Branch, Professor of Christian Ethics at Midwestern Seminary.
A shuttle bus will be available to return walkers to their vehicles. All LIFE DAY events are free. People are encouraged to participate with their families or a group of friends. No registration is required.
